To celebrate the Week of the Military Child, our students participated in meaningful activities to honor their experiences—placing stars on world maps to mark where they have lived, creating a Hero Window to recognize loved ones in service, participating in military trivia, wearing purple bracelets, and coming together on Friday to Purple Up! To all of our military families, your strength, resilience, and sacrifice do not go unnoticed. Our MHS staff truly appreciates
you! #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice

Students in Mrs. Land's Entrepreneurship class at MHS learned about distribution and supply chain management by competing in the Eggstravagant Eggspedition. Students planned in teams which transportation options would be the safest and lowest cost to travel across the country through the Overeasy Tunnel, over Mount Yolken, across Sunny Side Up Sea and other places. Then, they raced through the distribution obstacle course to get their egg from the manufacturer in New York to the retailer in Hawaii in the fastest time at the lowest cost. The catch was, if the egg was touched or dropped and broken, their broken product had to be returned to the manufacturer and they had to start again. Needless to say, a few cracked eggs added to the fun! ! #MHSTheHighSchoolOfChoice
